We wanted to get in as much time with them as we could before we moved, so we invited them to join us at Letchworth for the afternoon/evening. We headed there because there was a balloon festival where they were going to launch a few hundred hot air balloons at the same time. We were so excited to see it! Plus, I love Letchworth. It's one of my favorite places in Rochester and we wanted to visit there one more time before we moved.
Kaden absolutely loves Noah and thinks he's so funny. He is always super entertained by him. Here Noah was being a dancing robot for Kaden and Kaden just sat and squealed with delight and giggled.
We hiked around a bit while we waited for the balloon launch. When it got closer to it, we re-read the website to find out where we needed to go and realized that they only did the 6 pm launch on the Saturday before. Memorial Day only had 1 balloon launch and it was at 6 am. Ha ha! Joke's on us huh? I was bummed that I'd misread the time, but we still had fun regardless. We hiked around a little bit more until the boys got restless and then we were able to find a slide and the boys had a blast playing on that for several hours.
We ate at a super ghetto, greasy pizza joint that night in a tiny town on the way home. We loved it all and had such a blast with the Harts. They have been such a blessing to have as friends and neighbors in our ghetto little Elmwood Terrace land.
