This year Curtis planned our anniversary weekend and surprised me. We began our celebration on Friday May 6. All he told me was dress nicely and be downtown by 5:30 pm. He met me with beautiful roses and a dinner to the Roof, overlooking the Salt Lake Temple, which seemed fitting since that's where we were married. We had the most delicious dinner and desserts. We did a walk through memory lane as we ate and talked about our favorite moments of each year that we were married. Afterwards Curtis surprised me with a stay at the Anniversary Inn downtown. My parents watched the kids overnight so we could have a night off to celebrate.

The next day we slept in (glorious!) and then went shopping and out to lunch at Zilio's Pizza. It was a really fun weekend and I loved getting to spend some extra time with my sweetheart and my best friend. I love Curtis so much more now than I ever did 7 years ago.
That afternoon we took the kids to the Hogle Zoo for part of Reproductive Care Center's Patient Appreciation Night. Our twins got us this perk for spending so much money on IVF, so we figured free zoo/free dinner sounds awesome to us. It was unusually cold for May so we were all bundled up in coats, hats and long pants, but it was still super fun. Kaden absolutely loves to ride the train and carousel and much to his delight that was all free thanks to RCC so we could go as many times as he wanted without feeling guilty for saying no.
